The program requires Index Error to be entered as Index Correction. Fortunately, the DETAILS page allows one pick up this "error".
The use of the term is confusing.
You might consider clarifying this or correcting it in a later version.

Everywhere this value is entered or displayed within Pocket Stars, it is shown as "Index Error". Are you saying that "Index Correction" would be a more appropriate term, or what?

Jay, I've been meaning to make the same comment. IE is the sextant error, but the correction (IC) is the opposite sign. If IE is on the arc, then IC is negative, and vice-versa.

So if Pocket Stars asks for Index Error, then the underlying code should convert the sign to the contrary sign for correcting sextant altitude.

Or ask the user to enter Index Correction directly, with the appropriate sign.

So if IE is 1.0', then IC is -1.0'. I can make Pocket Stars give me the right answers if I enter IC where it asks for IE.
