I've been using Pocket Stars for about week and have noticed that the program will exit shortly after resuming from an auto power-off. I typically will find an object, review "info", point the telescope and observe. In the meanwhile, the pda powers off (it is configured to power off if not used for 2 minutes on battery power). I'll power-up the pda, find another object, review "info", and Pocket Stars will exit when selecting one of these commands. Note that it typically takes 3 or 4 finds, object selections, or info's after the power-up before it exits. I can then restart Pocket Stars and continue, but the behavior repeats after the next auto power-off.

Has anyone else experienced this behavior?

I'm running the software on an Axim X51v with WM2005 with no other application running.

I was able to reproduce the problem with a different application. Thanks again for the great support and great application.

Thanks for the quick reply

Yes, the application (as well as the majority of my other applications) reside on the SD card. I'm running the A12 ROM with the activesync dummy server fix (not sure that's even still required w/ A12).

Pocket Stars is the first application I've noticed this behavior with. I'll try doing similar things with other applications to see if they behave in a similar fashion. Likewise, I can re-install PS to main memory and see if the behavior continues.

Thanks again for developing a great application.

First, a question: Is Pocket Stars installed on the SD card?

There appear to be a bunch of suspend/power-on issues related to the interaction of WM5, SD cards, and the X51. Here's a brief selection. Sounds like an upgrade to the A12 ROM might fix the problem (see last link):
